Ride: Melbourne To Sydney
I have just recently completed my post graduate from Deakin University. Anyone who knows me would laugh at the Idea of me cycling between two cities, because I am not much of a sporty type. I intend to do this because just as this task looks impossible to complete so does a cure for cancer. However, as I complete this journey so shall we step closer to also tackling another task that looks impossible yet very achievable only if we believe. Another reason why I want to do this is because I can’t think of a better way to remember my father who also fell victim to this menace.
I will be embarking on a 1,000 km cycling journey from Melbourne to Sydney with Steer North. Throughout the ride, we will be delivering health promotion programs to local communities in the aim of inspiring and empowering people to live healthy and active lives. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with your support, a real impact will be made!
Funds raised in the Steer North Melbourne to Sydney Ride will benefit the Victorian Comprehensive Cancer Centre (VCCC). The world-leading doctors, researchers, scientists, clinicians and nurses at the VCCC will use our funds to support cancer research, education and patient care.
Any amount donated towards the cause whether small or large, would be appreciated 🙂
